I made one and it didn’t hold my attention that well. I think two things contributed to this: 1. I don’t have photos to put in the album (no one wants to see an album of my dog) and 2. the papers I was using didn’t stand alone as some papers do-just be a coffee table book.
Still. Once we figured out the binding it was a fun project.
For the binding we used tutorials from YouTube. It involved a lot of scoring, a lot of tape, and a lot of patience. There’s no hurrying with the binding or it gets sloppy.
I’m planning to make another of these that acts more as a coffee table book using Graphic45 papers (it is the 2014 calendar paper).
Anyway though-here are the pages:
–Scotch Advanced Tape Gun
-American Crafts Amy Tangerine “Yes, Please” 6×6 paper pad (this is the link to the 12×12 pad)
-White cardstock and miscellaneous scraps of colored paper
–Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tattered Rose
-Assorted ribbons and embellishments
-Fiskars scalloped scissors
-Martha Stewart score board (full size)
